YaraMila STOCK BOOSTER S

YaraMila STOCK BOOSTER S (25-5-5 + 5% SO3 + Na and Se) is a compound prilled NPKS fertiliser containing selenate for use on grassland to supplement selenium levels.

YaraMila STOCK BOOSTER S is part of the Booster range of grassland fertilisers which all contain sulphur and are enriched with selenium for healthier livestock, improved performance and fertility.

Selenium is vital to fertility in most mammals and prevents issues such as placental retention, increased white cell counts and white muscle disease. Sodium aids the uptake of selenium into the grass.

Sodium is also important for animal health. Adding sodium in the fertiliser has been shown to improve the digestibility of grass and enhance grass palatability, resulting in longer grazing times and improved intakes. This results in improved milk yields and milk quality.

P-Extend

Choosing a form of phosphate which not only supplies readily available phosphate but also maintains a supply of phosphate over time also avoids problems of 'lock-up'. Lock-up is where the available phosphate becomes bound up in the soil as either iron or aluminium phosphate at low pH or as calcium phosphate at higher pH. YaraMila compound fertilisers contain phosphate in the form of P-Extend which supplies available phosphate over an extended period to avoid potential lock-up in the soil.

The benefits of using YaraMila STOCK BOOSTER

  • A fertiliser for productive grassland and healthy livestock
  • Reduced rates of disease and fertility issues in livestock
  • A true uniform compound that ensures an even spread of nutrients.
